Terms of service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
1. Who we are
At-Tawwabun Academy is an online Quran and Arabic academy based in Algeria. Our details are on the Legal notice page. Contact: WhatsApp +213 658 387 528, email altawabunquranacademy [at] gmail.com.
2. Our services
We give live, one-to-one online classes of 30 minutes in Quran, Arabic, Fiqh, Sunnah & Hadith and the Stories of the Prophets, for children and adults, and a teacher training program. Fiqh classes are general learning; they are not a personal fatwa. For a personal religious ruling, please ask a qualified scholar.
3. The free trial class
- One free trial class per student.
- No payment details are needed.
- The trial never turns into a paid plan by itself. You decide afterwards, without pressure.
4. Booking
You book by sending us a WhatsApp message (the form on our website prepares it for you). A class is booked only when we confirm the day and time to you in writing.
5. Prices and payment
- Before you pay anything, we send you one written message from our official WhatsApp number or email with: the plan, the program, the class length, the full monthly price including all taxes and fees, the currency, the month it covers, how to pay, what happens if a class is missed, and how to stop.
- You pay that price only. Nothing is added on top.
- We never take payment automatically. You decide each month.
- You receive an invoice for every payment.
- We never ask for your card number, a password or a verification code. Payment details are only ever sent in writing from our official contacts.
6. Schedule
- Plans are 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Saturday is kept for make-up classes.
- To move a class, please tell us at least 24 hours before. It is made up on Saturday or at another time we agree with you.
- If the teacher is absent, the class is made up free of charge.
- A class missed without notice may not be replaced.
7. Ending your plan
You can stop at any time on WhatsApp or by email. The month you have already paid stays yours: you can take its remaining classes until the end of that month. Nothing more is charged.
8. Students in the European Union: right to withdraw
If you live in the European Union, you can withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days of agreeing to it, without giving a reason, by telling us on WhatsApp or by email. If you ask for classes to start during those 14 days, you pay only for the classes already given.
9. Children's classes
Students under 18 (under 19 in Algeria) are booked by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms for the child. Outside class, the teacher talks to the parent or guardian. A parent may sit in on the class. Classes are not recorded without the parent's written consent.
10. Respect
We expect good manners from everyone: students, parents and teachers. We may end classes if someone is disrespectful or abusive, after a warning except in serious cases. Any month already paid and not used is then refunded for the classes not given.
11. Learning materials
The materials we share are for the student's personal learning. Please do not resell or publish them.
12. Equipment
You need a phone, tablet or computer with a camera, a microphone and a stable internet connection. If a class cannot take place because of a problem on our side, it is replaced.
13. Responsibility
We do our best to teach well and on time. Progress depends on regular practice, so we cannot promise a particular result or speed. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer law gives you.
14. Complaints
If something is wrong, tell us on WhatsApp or by email. We reply within 7 days and try to find a fair solution with you.
15. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and tell current students before the change applies. The new terms apply from your next month.
16. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Algerian law. If you live in another country, the rules of your country that protect consumers and cannot be set aside by contract still apply to you.
